The music industry is affected just like many other sectors of the economy. While their plight might not be as dire as normal Nigerians, they are still facing challenges of their own.
In a bid to encourage the masses, five-star music act, Kcee the Limpopo music crooner hilariously took to his Instagram page to post a video of him drinking garri and encouraging people to hold on.
According to the video, Kcee also publicly advertised his colleague’s business but made it known that he does not kind being a share holder of the Koko Garri business, owned by D’banj. He effectively passed across his message by making his own version of Harrysong’s hit single, ‘Baba For The Girls’.
He said in the video:
“This is fishy and garri, no more rice I want drink garri. Trust me all I want right now is this garri and I have wanted it like forever. The last time I drank garri was when I released Limpopo in 2013, today I remembered it and I told my chef I want garri and fish. I case you are abroad and you are missing this flavour, I am sorry for you.
“We in Africa we thank the new government for taking us back to the root where we have started from. Africa come back to the root, no cornflakes, Quaker Oats….garri oat is in the building. This is time for D’banj to make money ‘Koko Garri’ has to sell and I want to buy shares in Koko garri business. Fishing business, my brother Harrysong started fishing business many years ago, so we have to go back to fishing. I love you all while I am enjoying this fish and garri.”
